Product Development Mechanical Engineer
This mechanical engineer will research and design new conveyor products that will be offered to our customers worldwide. Strong communication skills are needed, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Duties
• Develop new product lines
• Design, build and test prototypes
• Project planning, deadline management, and progress reporting
• Coordinate activities of technical support staff
• Research the market needs and the Voice of the Customer
• Write specifications and publish performance
• Qualify vendors for manufacturing of key components
• Cost and profitability analysis
• Technical staff performance evaluations
• Minimal travel
Qualifications
BSME/BSMET, 5 years machine design experience, 2 years of 3D solid modeling.
