Mechanical Designer / Engineer
This Mechanical Designer will be responsible for 3D design of conveyor systems and related products from sales concept through manufacturing. Requires 3D modeling experience and analytic problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, prototype, and test various mechanical assemblies to product specifications
- Create 2D drawings or 3D models for sales proposals
- Manage special orders of custom configurations based on standard product
- Frequent interaction with sales, purchasing, suppliers, production, and customers
- Minimal travel
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in CAD or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years experience of 3D solid modeling, Solid Edge preferred
