New Web Site Functionality Allows Users to View and Download 3D CAD Drawings of Low Profile Belt Conveyors

Cincinnati, OH – QC Industries is pleased to announce their new online 3D CAD tool to simplify the specifying of their low profile belt conveyors. Users can easily search for conveyors and accessories, and then see 360° views of the models to ensure accuracy prior to downloading files into their own design software. Models from the 125 Series and 250 Series product lines, as well as a full range of accessories, drives, stands, mounts, and guides are available at http://www.qcindustries.com/cad/. Shopping cart ease-of-use is combined with the robust functionality of STP and DXF file formats, which can be downloaded into virtually any design program (including Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Pro/E, Ideas, and Inventor). This new functionality links to the 3D-Seek Part Bin by Imaginestics, LLC which allows users to search for upstream and downstream components available from other manufactures.

An extremely low profile (1.89”), allows unique QC Industries conveyors to be used in tight quarters where conventional conveyors will not fit. Unique snap-in sealed tail assembly allows belts to be changed in less than 5 minutes (regardless of belt length or width) using standard hand tools. Permanent belt tensioning ensures a long service life for belts and bearings while moving the heaviest loads in low-profile conveyors, with no tension adjustment necessary. These unique features make QC Industries conveyors ideal for use in manufacturing plants as well as a distribution centers, packaging lines, metal stamping and precision manufacturing environments, and more.

Conveyor frames are laser cut from 10-gauge steel which is then powder coated. Lubrication of bearings is achieved with zero downtime. Application specific belting is available in over 50 styles. Corrosion resistant and magnetic conveyors are also available.

A wide variety of accessories, including sides, guides, mounts, stands, drive packages and controls allow these robust conveyors to be adapted to virtually any application. Automation accessories available include transfer plates, diverters, nose bars, adjustable stops, and turning wheels. Motion detection is also available.
